After just a couple months of travel, we started to accumulate things that we couldn’t keep in our day packs and regular backpacks. Random useful things, random things that one day might be useful, and random things that are not useful and will probably never be useful. We needed a bag for all of it. This is the current contents of that bag.
Shit we carry around:
1. Plastic bag full of lots of other plastic bags
2. Two rolls of toilet paper

3. 1 used butter container full of coca leaves
4. 1 laundry (former utility) bag
7. 2 ponchos
9. 3 medium souvenir shirts from Cusco
10. 1 bottle of NO-AD sunscreen

11. 1 500g container of AXION dish wash soap
12. 1 1.5 L pitcher – contents: 1 cayenne pepper, 1/3 bag of bread crumbs, 1/3 bag of Aunt Jemima pancake mix, & 1 bottle of vanilla extract

13. 1 bottle of French’s yellow mustard and 1 bottle of Hunt’s ketchup
15. 1 Tupperware container of seashells and sand dollars

16. 1 red Tupperware container – contents: undetermined amounts of pasta and pop corn kernels

17. 1 former butter container – current contents: cumin, ground pepper, Ecuadorian spice blend, cream of mushroom soup powder, salt from Salineras in Maras, jungle coffee from Cusco in an envelope, dried Italian blend seasoning
18. Bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup
19. 1/2 a box of black tea bags
22. 100% pure cocoa and jungle sugar

23. 1 bag full (380) Salon Pas pain relieving patches

24. 1 Metro bonus card for use at Metro grocery stores
25. 1 Tupperware container containing white and brown sugar

27. 1 small bag with flour, cornmeal, beef and chicken bouillon cubes

29. 4 250g packets of Salt from the Salineras salt mines in Maras
30. Rough guides – South America
And we can fit all that shit in to this bag.
